AMS North Media Center will host a book fair from Scholastic Books to help raise funds for prizes for student reading programs through the media center. The book fair will be open each day from December 7-11 and feature a wide range of books for young teens. Language Arts classes will bring their students to the media center during the week to shop for books.

Honor an Educator
Parents: Is there a special teacher or staff member who's making a difference in your child's life this year at school? You may want to consider honoring them this holiday season with a donation in his/her name to the Avon Education Foundation. In exchange, they will receive a unique gift and a holiday card personalized with your own special message.
All gifts to the Honor-An-Educator program directly benefit Avon students through classroom grants, funding for innovative classroom projects, field trips, supplies, etc.
Think about how you'd like to thank that teacher, bus driver, school staff member, aide, or administrator for the caring difference they've made in the life of your child this school year. Please use the attached form or go to the Avon Education Foundation website www.avoneducationfoundation.org to download and return by Friday, December 11.
Please keep our car riders safe by following the procedure below:

Enter from the North entrance on Dan Jones Road & turn into the front parking lot

Follow the arrows around the back of the parking area until they lead to the front of the school

To leave the parking lot, continue to the stop sign, turn left, and exit onto Dan Jones Road

Cars should not enter from 10th street or travel behind the building on the East side
Elementary Redistricting Update
